Denver Portraits, October 21st - 25th
October 28, 2016I’ve known Diana for several years now. I connected with her when I was actively photographing models for trade at Donna Baldwin Agency in Denver during my initial 303 Magazine years (back when it was a print publication). I managed to schedule a time to photograph her and her two sons at Commons Park this past weekend. I love taking family portraits. This past weekend I was booked solid for two days, taking headshots, family photos, and model portraits. I loved the diversity of each shoot, each kid having their own attention span, and each family with its own fun, at times chaotic, interaction with each other.
I photographed Grace about 6 years ago. It was one of my earliest attempts at family portraiture. Seth & Angie (Grace’s parents) were high school friends of mine, back from 1996-2000. It’s amazing how fast people grow. I had glanced at Angie’s page, after looking through some older family photos I had taken, and saw that Grace was now 12. I offered to photograph a few headshots for her to submit to Donna Baldwin, and they jumped on the opportunity. I was stoked to reconnect with my old friend, even if briefly, and hopefully make some future opportunities for them in the commercial and modeling world.
